Role Summary
The Business Analyst (BA) acts as a key link between business objectives and technology delivery within a consulting environment. The role focuses on understanding business needs, translating them into clear and actionable requirements, and ensuring delivered solutions provide measurable business value while meeting quality, regulatory, and operational standards.
Working across the full Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), the BA is effective in Agile/Scrum and hybrid delivery models, collaborating closely with clients, Product Owners, and delivery teams. As a trusted advisor, the BA challenges assumptions, supports decision-making, and ensures alignment between business intent and technical solutions.
What You’ll Do
Elicit, analyse, and document business, functional, and non-functional requirements
Facilitate stakeholder workshops and working sessions to define objectives and success criteria
Translate business needs into user stories, epics, acceptance criteria, and functional specifications
Own end-to-end requirements management, including traceability through delivery, testing, and sign-off
Analyse current-state (AS-IS) and define future-state (TO-BE) business processes
Support solution design by clarifying requirements and validating alignment with business needs
Collaborate with Product Owners and delivery teams in Agile/Scrum ceremonies
Support testing and UAT through clear acceptance criteria, requirement clarification, and defect triage
What We’re Looking For
University education and degree (preferable business or IT related), and strong academic record
Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in a Client-facing consulting experience and ability to work in fast-paced environments
Experience in Financial Services industry (Banking and Insurance)
Strong analytical, requirements elicitation, and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement capabilities
Experience working across SDLC and Agile delivery environments
Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Confluence, or Azure DevOps
Excellent written and verbal skills in English
Client-facing consulting experience and ability to work in fast-paced environments
