Job Title: Marketing Analytics

Location: Virtual Remote (Pacific Timezone Preferred)

Pay: $82/hr

Job Summary

  • Seeking a Marketing Analytics professional to support billing and customer experience initiatives at DIRECTV.

  • Serve as the primary analytics partner for stakeholder communications, test design, and performance measurement.

  • Work closely with our marketing and finance teams to ensure rigorous testing methodologies and clear reporting on campaign effectiveness.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Paperless Billing Initiative (Primary Focus)

    • Design and implement test/control group frameworks for paperless billing campaigns.

    • Partner with marketing stakeholders to define target audiences and exclusion criteria.

    • Respond to ad hoc analytical questions from business stakeholders.

    • Build and maintain dashboards to track test performance and key metrics.

    • Provide guidance on test design methodology and statistical rigor.

    • Document campaign performance and communicate results to non-technical stakeholders.

  • Additional Projects (As Capacity Allows)

    • Support CX-related marketing campaign tracking and analysis.

    • Contribute to billing migration analytics projects, including customer segmentation and complexity tiering.

    • Assist with general marketing performance analysis and insights.

Required Technical Skills

  • SQL - Strong proficiency required for data extraction and analysis.

  • Experience designing and analyzing A/B tests and test/control experiments.

  • Ability to create clear, actionable dashboards and reports.

  • Strong data quality and validation skills.

Soft Skills

  • Excellent communication skills with ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

  • Experience managing high volumes of ad hoc requests.

  • Self-directed with ability to work independently.

  • Strong attention to detail and documentation practices.

Tools & Platforms

  • Snowflake - Experience with cloud data warehousing.

  • Tableau - Dashboard creation and data visualization.

  • Databricks or Jupyter Notebooks - For exploratory analysis and documentation.

Experience

  • Background in marketing analytics, particularly campaign measurement.

  • Experience with customer segmentation and targeting.

  • Familiarity with churn analysis and retention metrics.

  • Previous work in subscription-based businesses a plus.
