This position is a general labor/material handling type of role within our Shower Door Division. Responsibilities include pulling glass and metal materials from holding racks, inspecting products for quality, packaging, and stocking materials for distribution. Employees may be cross-trained throughout the department.

Please note: This position does not involve forklift operation.

The typical shift for this role is 7am-3pm, Monday - Friday. Overtime or a Saturday shift may be assigned as needed. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Read, interpret, and process work orders

  • Pull material by hand and transport to proper areas throughout department

  • Inspect product for defects such as chips, bubbles, scratches, blown holes, proper edgework, etc.

  • Package materials and prepare for shipment

  • Utilize a tape measure to ensure product is within guideline

Requirements

  • Basic computer skills and ability to read/use a tape measure

  • Detail-oriented, self-motivated; able to work independently and as part of a team

  • Able to stand, walk, bend, twist, reach, push, and pull frequently

  • Lift up to 75 lbs. alone and 150 lbs. with a partner

  • Close visual acuity required

  • Comfortable working in non-climate-controlled environments (hot/cold conditions)
