Job Summary
Responsible for inspecting, labeling, and packaging glass and/or metal products. Cross-training within the department may be required.
Please note: This position does not involve forklift operation.
The typical shift for this role is 7am-3pm, Monday - Friday. Overtime or a Saturday shift may be assigned as needed.
Inspect workpieces for defects and verify specifications (dimensions, finish, placement)
Use measuring tools to ensure products meet guidelines
Buff minor defects as needed
Label, stock, wrap, and prepare materials for shipment
Perform basic equipment cleaning
Handle physical tasks including lifting (up to 75 lbs), bending, and standing in a non-climate-controlled environment
Maintain attention to detail and quality while working independently or on a team
Strong attention to detail and self-motivation
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Ability to read (or learn to read) a tape measure, including decimals and fractions
