We seek to develop a dream team of outstanding investment analysts with strong academic and professional achievements and a passion for investing and technology.

Your Role:

This is a founding role in Dedale's new Lisbon office, with real room to grow beyond sourcing execution into shaping the team's strategy and build-out as the office scales.

  • Cold call and directly approach senior executives and subject-matter experts to introduce Dedale and build genuine, lasting relationships

  • Build deep, senior-level relationships with C-suite executives and top-tier advisors, moving beyond transactional outreach to become a genuine long-term point of contact within the network

  • Proactively identify and source high-quality industry experts and advisors through multiple channels: LinkedIn, professional networks, industry events, and targeted outreach

  • Qualify expert profiles through phone screening, assessing relevant experience, seniority, and fit for specific research mandates

  • Build sector fluency across B2B technology and software verticals to know precisely who the right expert is for a given mandate

  • Coordinate closely with research analysts and project leads to translate mandate requirements into a targeted sourcing strategy

  • Build and maintain long-term pipelines of vetted experts across priority sectors, re-engaging past contacts for new relevant mandates

  • Conduct outreach across multiple time zones to engage senior experts across our core US and European markets

  • Track and improve sourcing funnel performance — outreach response, call conversion, and expert reactivation rates

  • Maintain accurate expert records in our internal database

  • Identify and pilot new sourcing channels to continuously expand our global expert network

  • Support ad hoc sourcing and business development tasks as needed

  • Grow with the office: as a founding member of the Lisbon team, there's a clear path from sourcing execution into building and leading the team and strategy as the role and the office mature

Your Profile:

Across the firm, we attract motivated, intellectually curious, and analytically rigorous young professionals who are passionate about learning and creating impact. It's highly likely you'll move forward in the process if:

  • You have a Bachelor's degree with 1-3 years of experience in sourcing, business development, recruitment, or a similarly relationship-driven, target-oriented role

  • You have excellent verbal communication skills: confident, persuasive, and comfortable picking up the phone to cold call senior executives and industry experts

  • You have a strong drive to succeed in a target-oriented, high-volume outreach environment

  • You can quickly grasp business context and research needs, and translate them into a practical sourcing strategy

  • You're resilient and persistent: comfortable with rejection and able to stay motivated through high call volumes

  • You have strong organizational skills and are comfortable maintaining and working from a structured database/CRM

  • Prior experience in executive search, headhunting, sales development (BDR/SDR), or recruitment agency environments is a strong advantage

  • Strong oral and written communication skills in English are a must; French, German, Spanish, or Italian is a plus

Cherry on the Cake:

  • You're passionate about technology and the B2B tech space, even without a formal background in it

  • You like collaborating as a team and delivering your best as an individual

Recruitment Process:

  • 1 HR Chat

  • Interview with Country Manager

  • Pre-Case Interview with a Senior Manager

  • Case Study and Debrief with a VP

  • Final on-site interview with Managing Director and the HR team
