About Ziina

Ziina is building the consumer financial platform for the Middle East. They started as the UAE's first SVF-licensed P2P wallet and are now expanding into a full-stack consumer finance product: subscriptions, cards, and payments, for a region of 400M+ people where financial access and trust are still being defined.

Content is now at the center of their next chapter. As they shift from B2B to consumer, the words on the screen — every label, error message, onboarding flow, and notification — need to earn the trust of people managing their money. That's what this role is about.

Please keep in mind that the role is based in the UAE. Relocation is supported.

What you are expected to do

• Set the foundation others build on. That starts with auditing existing content and terminology, and continues with building a systematic approach to how Ziina speaks with customers.

• Take complete ownership of the content function: identify gaps and areas for improvement, own all in-product copy across every touchpoint — from onboarding and error states to Help Center and Support macros.

• Define and evolve Ziina's voice and tone using insights from user research and testing, integrate cultural nuances, bring the language users actually use back into the product.

• Work on user scenarios alongside Product and Design from the moment ideas take shape, contribute directly in Figma.

• Build AI-assisted content workflows: prompt libraries and tooling that help the team scale quality efficiently.

• Support brand and marketing writing when needed.

What you need to succeed

• 4+ years of experience in Content Design, UX Writing, or Content Strategy, including building content systems from scratch: terminology frameworks, logic behind the messaging, voice and tone guidelines, or component libraries that extend beyond your individual contributions.

• Experience in consumer products, fintech, or other high-trust environments, embedded within product or design teams.

• A portfolio that shows not only the final output, but also how you think, work with systems, and make decisions. A portfolio is required.

• Confidence in Figma: contributing directly to flows, annotations, and design critiques.

• Ownership mindset: you define the problem, shape the solution, and follow through — without waiting to be told what to do.

• High attention to detail: you notice gaps others skip, and you act on them.

• Strong English. Arabic is a plus, not a requirement.
