In this role, you'll be based in the Western Cape and must be flexible with shifting priorities, able to adapt to new situations, and comfortable working in dynamic environments. You may also be required to work in different locations based on business/project needs.
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:
Provides clinical and technical guidance to end-users & associated HCP’s where required.
Provides clinical and technical expertise through case support, product demonstrations, installations, maintenance or suitable alternatives of company products.
Provide follow-up support to company sales staff and customer personnel by providing technical support and information on specific applications, where/as needed.
Area of responsibility will be product/disease focused, linked to the Operating Units you are responsible for.
Collaborate with the sales team to identify opportunities and drive therapy adoption.
Focus on clinically driven accounts within an assigned geographical area and in need of onsite support.
Management of consignment inventory in allocated accounts as per Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) for specific OU’s assigned to you.
Required Knowledge and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in a related field
Minimum of 3 years of experience in a clinical, technical, or sales role within the medical device or healthcare industry
Medical background and experience in the surgical field preferred as well as knowledge of medical terminology and procedures
Professional, positive attitude and well spoken
Team player
Capable of moderate lifting and potentially standing for prolonged periods
Able to accommodate overtime and/or weekend shifts as needed and open to travel requirements
Computer literacy
